Sustainable Carbon Management
Extending the Value of Activated Carbon
Sustainability is an important part of the Donau Carbon approach. In applications where spent activated carbon can be reprocessed, reactivation can provide an alternative to simply replacing the material with fresh carbon.
Donau Carbon's reactivation services include options for compensation of reactivation losses with suitable makeup carbon. Where spent carbon can no longer be reused after reactivation, replacement with fresh carbon may be considered following appropriate testing.
Depending on customer requirements, services can include acceptance of spent carbon, filter replacement and redelivery of reactivated or virgin carbon. Strict batch separation can also be provided where required.
